A few weeks ago, I decided to try out one of those personal styling services that ship a box of clothes to your door. The one I used in particular is called PS by Justfab. Lately, I have been purchasing a few things from their website so I figured, why not? I never thought I needed that kind of service since I’m always browsing for clothes online anyways! But I figured, if it’s coming from a brand I already love, it couldn’t hurt! And thus, my trench coat story begins…
The Transitional Trench Coat
The morning I got my first box of clothing from JustFab, I immediately opened it and saw this coat. This was the only thing I ended up keeping for myself, and for good reason! I needed a nice coat I can wear on the weekends as well as to work. The sun is starting to come out and my thick winter coats would be too heavy to wear in the upcoming months. The coat itself is very light and the length is perfect. Not to mention, I love the classic camel color it comes in! I decided to wear it out the first day I bought it and it went perfect with my spring-inspired outfit. It has proven to be one of my favorite winter-spring transition pieces.
City Chic & Urban Hikes
Apart from the coat, I’ve been getting a lot of questions on the shoes. These pair of lace-up heels are from Steve Madden, but I actually bought them on sale at Burlington. I am a sucker for great steals! Underneath the coat is a very beautiful top from a local boutique. Unfortunately, I don’t have the name of the brand of the top. The floral blouse has these very feminine ruffle details on the sleeves as well as on the neckline. I also am wearing a pair of jeggings from Forever 21 which will probably be featured in a few of my other springtime looks. Am I the only one who can’t stop wearing jeans when you finally find a pair that fits so perfectly??
The other day, my sister brought up the term ‘Urban Hike’ after purchasing a book that showed maps of Los Angeles and where the best places to walk are. Well, I decided to take an ‘Urban Hike’ around the Downtown Los Angeles City Hall & surrounding buildings. I made it a goal to explore more of the cities around me and it has been pretty fun.
Til next time,
